I think the demographics are broadening for this vehicle. Do not think the turbocharger is necessary unless you want to toss it a lot (I am in the 50+ demographic.been there, done that). Terrific ingress egress, great backseats! Very easy to live with day today. EyeSight works well except in carwashes! and direct blinding sunlight really not very expensive for what it is and can do (if I avoid one minor rear ender, or lessen severity, it pays for itself!) Sound is 10+! Works well with iOS devices. It's no more confusing than our other more recent Lexus was. The buttons are a little bit fiddly/small. Some of the reviews, castigated the NAV and stereo. Carpet is cheap feeling feltish but am told is better for cleaning out than pile-based. (her real demographic).įIt and materials are nice-functional, but NOT near-Luxury. Wife like enough day to day forego a Lexus RX AWD. This Forester is a more direct assault on mainstream buyers. In fact the Forester models used to be a station wagons! I would be very careful comparing to previous Subaru models that had known issues(gaskets in particular).
